Offington Park Residents Association

Chairman's Welcome,

Formed in 2013 Offington Park Residents Association was established to give residents more of a voice in helping maintain and improve their neighbourhood at a time of austerity.

What happened though was greater than it's aim with the association quickly pulling together to save a local green space and gathering for some great social events.

Three years on and this website aims to keep members upto date quickly with news on local issues affecting residents such as road closures and A27 developments. We also aim to provide quick links to support people to report problems such as dangerous paving slabs and overgrown trees.

Please enjoy the site and I hope you can find the help and support you need, if not please let us know.

Our History

Offington Park is a residential of area of Worthing, West Sussex.

After the Offington Park Estate was bought, developers originally planned a Garden City but this never came to be. The first houses in Poulters Lane were built in 1924.

With about 900 homes in the area, little is left of the once open green spaces, but the stables and many beautiful trees remain, making the area one of the popular areas to live in Worthing.

Our Philosophy

Offington Park Residents Association aims to maintain and improve it's local community.

We will improve local safety working to reduce speeding cars and improving roads and parking.

We will keep members informed of issues that may affect them and gather their support. We will represent members views to local bodies such as Worthing Council.

We will welcome all members and organise social events to continue to build our community.
