Brooklands Park Masterplan

A £2 million masterplan for the complete revival of Worthing's Brooklands Park was announced at a public meeting in October 18.

Following the extensive work on remodelling the lake, the plan is to transform the park in to a Science Adventure Park with the emphasis on learning through fun, play and exploration.

New cafes, improved walkways, fitness trails, picnic areas and adventure play areas are just some of the features.

Sadly it will mean the end of the train - to encourage more nature, the pitch and putt and the go-carts, which will hopefully move to another site.

You'll be able to join the consultation.

Between 800-900 people packed Worthing Pier Pavillion for a Public Meeting on the A27.  It was great to see so many members there representing OPRA.

Activity Groups

Getting active is great - so if you're interested in setting up or supporting  things like walking groups, knit and natter or even just want a game of chess - then contact us.

Learning groups

You're never too old or young to learn.  We'd love to encourage learning in Offington Park (I've just learnt to build a website).  If you have the skills to teach other residents or want to learn something new - then please contact us and we'll see if we can make the connections.
